【Vkei-News】ν[NEU], after 10 years, the last music video “everlasting light” is released to rewrite the meaning of tears!
【NEWS】ν[NEU]、“完全完結”まであとわずか……!10年の時を経て、涙の意味を塗り替える最後のMV「everlasting light」を解禁!

A week after announcing the latest and last artist photo with the theme of “Thank you,” a new news from ν[NEU] has arrived.
Today, on December 29, 2024, exactly 10 years after their breakup, they will hold “Fan Thanksgiving Festival [FINAL] – 10 Years from Now” in two-part performance, and this announcement came tonight. This will be the last music video for ν[NEU].

The main scene is a performance by the five members, including Mitsu, Takumi, Heero, ЯeI, and guitarist Yumeji, who has continued to support the band since the band’s revival. Even former member Kayu can be seen in the old photo scene in the MV.
The video also depicts the band’s symbolic image of ν[NEU] and the dramatic progress of the band, and is intended to unite all the past trajectories and thoughts before the grand finale at the Shibuya Public Hall (LINE CUBE SHIBUYA) on January 4, 2025.
”Everlasting light” was the last song performed at their last live of their breakup 10 years ago. 10 years have passed since that day, and five years have passed since the members reunited. The purpose of the journey to complete the story of ν [NEU] was to overwrite the sad tears in the hall back then.
If we were to ask, “What is the theme song of ν[NEU] for you?” There sure will be a variety of answers. It could be a killer tune that is the absolute mainstay of ν[NEU]’s live performances, a song that gives a sense of the band’s policy, or even a ballad that has become much more precise since the band’s return to the scene.
At the same time, if there is one thing that is clear, it is that “everlasting light” is the “theme song” for ν[NEU] right now.
It is precisely because we have been able to respect each other’s way of life, which led to the revival of ν[NEU], that we have strongly realized that there should be as many answers as there are people, whether they have dreams, values, likes, dislikes, or anything else. We want people to smile, and that is why we aim for everlasting.
Everything that ν[NEU] is conveying at this time is summed up in “everlasting light”. Perhaps some aspects of the song may differ from what was envisioned at the time of its release in 2013, but it is clear that it has become a song that has certainly transcended time and has engraved a deeper meaning.
In light of this, it makes sense that to update “Endroll,” which was the title of their breakup live 10 years ago, they added the one phrase from “everlasting light,” “~to you, the most important of all~,” and thus ν[NEU] will be fully prepared and head towards the goal with no regrets.
What will the final scene of this grand “journey to the end,” which takes time to connect the past to the present, the present to the future, and the future to eternity, look like?
However, the blueprint within ν[NEU] is based on a strong will to “finish with a smile this time”. Just as the members delivered the music video for “everlasting light” with smiles on their faces–.
